Return of the Buddha
Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Smithsonian Institution "Return of the Buddha: The Qingzhou Discoveries" exhibition presented 35 well-preserved sixth-century Buddhist sculptures discovered by accident during work on a school sports field in Qingzhou, China. The exhibit also explored stylistic differences between the sculptures. Design work included the exhibition entrance with fabric banners and scrim panels, didactic text panels, object labels and museum signage.
